Great image but sadly when you know that global warming affects extremely the highest places as mountains.

A flooded glissade chute or really cold water slide. Great photo!

We, in the NW US, had the opposite problem...way more snow than usual ths year and a cold spring and early summer that kept it around longer than anyone can remember.

The situation in Iran was quite strange. Autumn was very dry, winter was extremely cold but the amount of snowfall was probably average (in the mountains). Spring became very hot and dry.

Hi,

Thanks for looking and voting. This particular stream did not seem to be very deep, so even if you fell in it, you would only get a cold wet foot. At the lower end of the Alam Chal Valley, I have seen areas where the stream has dug a deep hole into the mixture of rock and ice that forms the floor of the glacial valley. Who knows how deep that might be.
