Looks Like a Garden

If I hadn't hiked this myself I'd think it was shot in some city garden. I remember when my son and I were hiking into the valley where these falls are located and we could hear the roaring of a waterfall in the distance. As we crossed the ridge we realized that roaring was the dozens of waterfalls that are along the mountains all around--a place of immense beauty. Your photo captures that--Thanks for sharing! --mark d.

Re: Looks Like a Garden

Thanks! It was kind of garden-like at this point in the trail. There were flowers everywhere in this section due to the streams of water available. Since I was resting here I enjoyed watching people hike through and cool off that hot July afternoon. Enjoy your climbing/rappeling weekend coming up! I'm staying home for a change.....working on a couple articles and albums I'm trying to pull together.
