| Made it to top nowhere close to Mario's record time,but was happy. Met Mario and his German Shepherd coming down as I went up. Hope I'm still at it in the mountains at his age! May 23 2010. Climbed Goat Mtn. With Mike, Jim, and Josh. Then the fun began. We traversed the ridge to the West about 3 miles. Class 2 and 3 !!!. Good times where had. Sept 26 2011. Made it to the top, then headed west along the ridge for some great off trail scrambling. Great weather, fun solo trip. | |

| 13jun10 - Revisited this climb because a couple of us wanted to reach our "goal." We made it to Point 6930 and discovered that's as far west along this ridge one can go without using pro. 23may10 - I missed climbing this peak last year. Took a three guys west of the "normal" summit along the craggy ridge. We turned back just short of our goal when one person began to give out. It was a tough day. 28may08 - What a difference a year makes. The winter's heavy snows made the mood of this climb substantially different from last year's. 20may07 - One never wants to miss a chance to climb with Mario (the Mountain Goat) if it can be helped. A nice little climb on an often-ignored mountain with a few Rocky Mountaineers (Missoula, Montana, climbing and hiking club) & Mario Locatelli. | |
