Goose Lake

Better viewed in "Orig" Still winter all over here. Part of Little Goose Lake is visible as well. When the snow is gone, you can follow a trail along the lakeshore and then ascend to a saddle above Grasshopper Glacier and between Iceberg Peak and Sawtooth Mountain. The peaks in the distance on the right are Amphitheater Mountain and Abiathar Peak, in the Absaroka Range and Yellowstone National Park. Seen from Sawtooth Mountain Beartooth Mountains, MT-- July 2010
