| The Gores are probably Colorado's best undiscovered range. Only a few peaks over 13,000. Everything tends to be scrambly and difficult with long approaches. Climbed a few peaks in this hidden recess alongwith multiple hikes and camping trips while living in Vail. Still need to get back in there and climb the Zodiac Spires. | |

| After being pinned down by a apocalyptic 3-hour thunderstorm, one of our members getting really sick, and seeing more bear sign than anywhere else in Colorado, we had to flee the Gores early in july 2011. In all seriousness, though, this is an amazing place and one of the wildest/remotest in Colorado. | |

| interesting mountain range, unlike the others in colorado. to date i've only climbed keller but look forward to many other adventures among this mostly untouched land in the rockies. jamie | |
