Best viewed full screen Left to Right - Terra Tomah Mountain, Mount Julian, Cracktop, Chief Cheley Peak and Mount Ida. Inkwell and Azure Lakes center and right, respectively. Photo taken near Point 12,600(+) in the Gorge Lakes area of RMNP. Follow the Mount Ida ridge down to the NW and then to the NE to reach this point. The views of the Gorge Lakes are outstanding from this location, and there is plenty of solitude. RMNP August 23, 2015

Great shot!

I haven't peeked over from that vantage point.

Thanks Bill! It was a great spot - a different perspective on the peaks and lakes - and no one else up there.

Of course, I would love to say I went there on purpose, but a quick decision and a bit of lousy map reading may have been the actual reason (LOL). Possibly the subject for a future TR? Hmmm...
