A 2592 m peak, the highest of the Pizes da Cir, north of the Gardena pass (Dolomites). From the pass (m 2121) a path crosses the grasslands at the base of the Pizes da Cir, then goes up a narrow anal and finally climbs up the upper part of the Gran Cir. The ascent requires less than two hours. The last part of the path is equipped with iron cables, but it isn't really a ferrata, and it poses basically no problems. The panorama ranges from Sella group and Sassolungo to Puez group and Crespeina plateau.17 August 2008.
