Contrast...of the foreground and background is excellent. Gran Vernel looks rugged!

Re: Contrast...Thank you for the comment, yes Gran Vernel is a very rugged rock peak, among the higher in the Dolomites. The foreground is the lower Padònkamm, of volcanic origin.
