I took the north ridge route which was shorter distance but more rugged. This was a very scenic ridge. There were snowfields and cliff bands that made the route even more fun.

Trail up south ridge
Started at Tom Beal Park and hiked in to Wind Lakes. Had some smoke to contend with on the way in from a fire burning a couple miles to the south but it was not so bad. A beautiful area, and an easy hike up to the old lookout cabin on top. There are so many little alpine lakes surrounding this peak!

North Ridge
Had a nice hike along the north ridge from the Walton Lakes overlook and trailhead. Pretty easy hike, but with some exposure and minimal route finding just before the summit pyramid.
