| Great to get up early after camping in Bakerville and beat the hordes. On the way down, climbed down class 3 to get to what was left of a glissadeable snowfield, rapped my axe on a diving board-like boulder, gave a radness call out, and hit it with an exaggerated bicycle-style leap onto the snow. Good for some g.n.a.r. points. Maybe 1,000 feet. Good soft snow, even at 10 a.m. | |

| I had to park about a mile below the TH. Wow. It was busy like Best Buy on black Friday! 2:27 to the summit, 1:32 back to the car. Fun, easy 14er. | |

| We headed into the basin between Grays and Torreys with hopes to climb Dead Dog Couloir, but the snow had softened up too quickly so we skinned up Grays. Fun turns on the way down! | |

| From I70 TH up Steven's Gultch. Decent day for a winter 14er but got winded out at 13k just prior to the switch backs. Lot's of snow. Snow shoes on the whole trip. | |

| Somewhere around 7k feet of gain for the day. No big deal right? Route was great. Was harassed by marauding thunderstorms on the way back over Grizzly Peak. Finally found a break in the storm and made it over and back down. Was a crazy day for sure! | |
