Great Basin Western Rattlesnake

Great Basin Western Rattlesnake

This young rattler came towards me vs slithering away. This appears as a curious move, but it is considered an aggressive action. She (guessing) never rattled and appeared calm. But if you approached her, she approached you. Great Basin Western Rattlesnake, Snow Canyon, UT, October, 2007

Re: rattlesnake

that was a cool encounter Matt, Stacy and I studied what her actions meant...I told Stacy she was just curious...but she said that was an agressive action and the book confirms such....hey, did my trees as soon as you left! they are free!!! (thanks)
