Thank you for your comments that have helped me improve this page. I do not own a GPS, and I have difficulty determining accurate GPS coordinates. Is there a website that is useful for getting this information?
Easiest is to click on the map links here in the left margin on summitpost - for example the one that says "MyTopo map" - Move your mouse over the map, and the exact coordinates appear at lower left.
I also like acme mapper.

small improvementsPlease break the text up into multiple paragraphs; it's very hard to read right now.
See Alexey's comment on the distance to the wilderness boundary.
Also, the coordinates at the top of the page are way off. A decent value for the Great Gulf would be:
N 44.30334 W 71.25664
