Re: Beautiful!Well, I had given a private concert, together with a singer, in somebody's private home in a small town about thirty km south of Vienna. We stayed overnight there, and visited Stein and Dürnstein in the Wachau on the way back to Salzburg. Years ago, I did Melk-Krems by bike, though, and I found it fantastic! Wonderful landscape, plus all these gorgeous historical towns...

Yes, the Wachau is as close as anything to Bohemia and Moravia...by the way, when we travelled back on the A1, the weather was so clear between St. Pölten and Linz that one could see all the way to the first hills in the Czech republic...
