Hard to believe this is only a cub. Momma was close by on a day the whole family was close to the road in Teton Park. The sow is the now famous Grizzly 399 who has been photographed many times in the last two seasons. She and her cubs have been a regular roadside attraction.

Hasn't voted | Etna is in Star Valley, south of Alpine and north of Thayne. It is a very small town, I live in a small development known as Nordic Ranches just north of Etna. The Idaho border is only a few miles west. I am glad you like the griz shot. | | Posted Aug 23, 2009 6:02 pm |
