Grizzly on My Trail | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Look closely and you will see that a grizzly stepped over my own prints; it did this not long after I had passed by. Fortunately, the bear was traveling the other way.

Voted 10/10 | Would have been a bit creepier if he'd been heading in the same direction. | | Posted Jul 17, 2007 6:31 pm |

Hasn't voted | And I hadn't yet found a store that sold pepper spray! Some hikers I met on the way down told me about the tracks and got a kick out of my widening eyes.

Voted 10/10 | I had this happen while hiking into Red Eagle Lake. We met a pair of hikers and 10 munites late we saw their tracks covered by a set if griz tracks. | | Posted Jun 7, 2008 12:20 am |

Hasn't voted | It must happen a lot in bear country. It's no surprise, really, that bears would use trails for easier going. But yeah, it was a little unsettling; at least the bear was going the other way in my case. | | Posted Jun 7, 2008 7:45 am |
