Snow

In Colorado, unlike California, it seems the amount of snowfall has been OK. Like the Alborz, the Sierra-Nevada range experienced the wort year ever.

Re: Snow

Sorry it took a while to reply Kamran,

Looking at snowpack records, it appears that Colorado's winter snowfall was below average but spring became very snowy and cold. I remember seeing pictures of high peaks in early June completely covered in snow as if it was winter. By the time I got to Colorado (last days of June/first days of July), snow was melting very fast. Water, mud and soft snow was everywhere.

I just flew back from Utah yesterday and from the plane, could still see healthy patches of snow on the San Juan Mountains.
