| I started travel from Pécs (Hungary) at 4:45 a.m. Arrived to St. Oswald at 9:45 a.m. It is southeast to Grosser Speikkogel. Walked via St. Katharina in der Wiel, via Jägerwirt, via Glitzkogel to Grosser Speikkogel. On the way back I ascended Kleiner Speikkogel and returned almost on the same way. Back to car at 8:20 p.m. Then crossed Slovenia and Croatia, and finally back to home in Hungary on the next day at 5 a.m. 38 km walking. More than 1600 m elevation gain (and loss). | |

| I went up with my fiancee and with 2 friend from north, from the pass of 1666 m, on the easy way. I plan to do another ascent, from Schwanberg, being on 500 m elevation ASL. From here the ascent can be more than 1600 m elevation difference. Looks to be more interesting! Perhaps this year, perhaps the next year | |
