Grossglockner - mighty and appealing

A few sunrays touching the glacier with early-morning light after a heavy thunderstorm during the night. Kleinglockner, Grossglockner (3.798 m), Glocknerhorn, Teufelshorn and Glocknerwand seen from Oberwalder hut (2.973 m) during a week of advanced ice- & glacier training. This is a variation of another photo I've uploaded from a series of pictures half a year ago - here the whole Glocknerwand is visible. July 2006 by Herbert

Thanks! It was a very special moment, when I got out of Oberwalder hut in the early morning and saw this view. Just a little hole in the clouds allowed the sun to break through and create this nice effect exactly on King Glockner!
