Grossglockner Normal Route and South Face

Normal route from Stuedlhut goes trough the snow slope(right): 1. summer-right side of slope, to reach Erzherzog Johann hut 2. winter, spring(when rock band is mostly under snow)-it is possible to climb on the left side to pass below Erzherzog Johann hut and reach Glocknerleitl faster There is one more very old route on south face. It was climbed in 1891 by the ice field in the middle of south face and then by the rocks to the summit: grade IV, 40-45°. Regret I can't find more info on the internet. solo ascent 26-08-2008
