There are several gullies you might explore as possible starts to the northwest ridge route. This dry fall is the crux of the gully I selected. It's 30 feet high and slopes at 45 degrees. I was just barely able to scramble up it in my hiking boots, and then pulled my pack up after me. I felt more comfortable rappelling down. The anchor was somewhat shaky, so if you do descend this way, triple-check it for safety.
