| We had a fun hike with no trouble. This really is the middle of nowhere. View south to Big Hatchet was nice, and view down into Playas Valley and the smelter smokestack was interesting. | |

| I never would have known about Hachita if it were not for the prominence list. This is a nice little hike out in the middle of nowhere. The views from the summit are very good, especially towards Animas Peak. Too bad Animas is forbidden... | ||
