Route Climbed: Via Menareh Date Climbed: June 24, 2004
Spent the night camping at a 4450 m saddle near the base of the Haft Khans. The wind was very strong and lasted all night long. I was afraid it was going to rip our tent apart leaving us stranded in total darkness under subfreezing temperatures. The next morning, it was still windy but the sky was clear. These peaks were so impressive. I loved the climb, very challenging but not technical.
