It was a good day to climb. My wife, Lynda, hadn't climbed anything since 1982 but she's taken on the job of being my personal trainer to whip me into shape for my upcoming, annual week-long backpack trip. It's an easy climb in good weather and provides beautiful views of the Elkhead, Sierra Madres, Park and Flattop Mountain Ranges.
