It looks more like a bouldering rock.

It's hard to see the scale, it looks like it's 15 feet tall. Pretty nice rock.

I was surprised myself; the number in the caption is based on a diagram in _Boston Rocks_. For a better sense of scale, see the photos at Newton Conservators. All the climbing shots there show the Lower Wall (with the possible exception of the guy practicing aiding - not enough context visible).

Yep. This photo shows an unusual situation, even for December: no climbers on this face. As I was leaving a few minutes later I passed a party of climbers arriving in the parking lot.
