Thank you! The weather was just unbelievable. I felt bad because so many of the summit registers I was reading each day contained complaints about rotten weather and no views all through June and July. But there we were in the sun, day after day. What all did you do and see?
I hiked to Grassi Lakes and did the standard Plains of Six Glaciers/Tea House, Lake Minnewanka and the Icefields Parkway. I also did scads of small 15 minute photo hikes. My husband is not a hiker and insisted on some 'normal' sightseeing! :) It was definitely a week I will never forget!
Sounds like you had a wonderful trip. We tried to make the most of the weather by climbing one peak each day. At the end I calculated 34,000 feet of elevation gain in 9 days. I'll write up a report soon enough. But it's easier to show than tell:
