| Nice easy trail hike to the summit. It was a super hot day with TONS of bugs. Wild flowers are still in bloom. We slept on the summit along with a few other chaps. Great views and a beautiful sunset and sunrise. The next morning we continued on and summited Granite Mountain as well, which definitely sees less traffic than Hannegan Peak. | ||

| Went with my little brother and mom. Easy walk during summer... if you bring enough water. I ran out of water in the valley and checked my thermometer on my pack -- it read 103 Degrees Farenheit. I have never been as thirsty for such a short distance. | |

| Drank too much tequila the night before so I was sick in the parking lot and again at the top, but I still love the hike! Ruth Creek valley is loaded with flies. | |

| I doubt this trail will be cleared this year. The massive amount of avalanche debris is very difficult to navigate, plus it was too early in the year I think, we had to put on snowshoes before we even made it to the trailhead. | The trail above the pass was very snow covered from early season storms, and I was breaking trail in 2'+ of snow for the last half mile. Exhausting, but my goodness the views! | |
