| Climbed from Upper Cottonwood. The trail disappeared under snow so I cut up early onto some miserable loose stuff that made for an exhausting traverse. Descended to the saddle between Sac and made my way back to Upper Cottonwood off trail since the trail was lost to snow and lack of maintenance. More adventure than I was hoping for solo but a great day. | |

| Every now and then, I turn right at the pass and do Hardscrabble instead of Sacajewea. It gives you a great view of Sac and is close to the same climb..... | |

| Climbed Hardscrabble via the Corbly Drainage. It was a long day, but very rewarding. Saw two mountain goats, and a great number of people over on Sacajawea. | |
