| Did this peak on the way back from doing Wilson and Harvard. I came up the Mt. Wilson trail to the top of Wilson, then went down and did Harvard. I was really worried I wasn't going the right way, but thanks to some of the pictures on the pages I found my way down by Yale and around the south side of Yale so I could see the steep cutoff to the ridge to Hastings. Oddly enough, a group of guys were there using the rope to get up to the toll road just as I showed up. I ran down where they just came up, much to their shock and horror and after their warnings of it being too dangerous to run down. And then ran up the next section after that. As I finished running to the top of this ridiculously steep spot, I turned around and they all raised their hands in the air and started screaming...pretty fun. I then took the ridge all the way back down over Jones and back to the Mt. Wilson trail. One word: steep! Fun stuff though. | |

| From Little Santa Anita Canyon up the ridge, then over to Jones, back to the ridge, continue to Hastings and Yale. Returned via Wilson Trail. | |

| Went up the Mt. Wilson Trail came down the firebreak across Hastings Peak to the connector trail between Bailey Canyon and Little Santa Anita Canyon. Then down to the Wilson Trail and on back to the car. Nice loop. | |

| Mountain Impulse showed me the route from Bailey Canyon, up to Mount Wilson (crossing over Hastings Peak), down the old mountain wilson trail up past Orchard camp, then we took the steep trail back up to the ridge, climbed Jones and then followed the ridge down until it intersected the Old Mount Wilson Trail. | |
