To be in our age group and still go to the summits and make the tops of hard rock climbs and classic ice climbs. Makes me love and enjoy life that much more. May all your adventures take you there and back with a grin and a story to tell. Best of luck from Jerry ice man
Thank you so much Jerry. I am a new comer to Summit Post still I found your page early on and have been admiring and enjoying all your photos.
I started climbing at the age of 16 and at 63 still at it. You can only imagine the number of setbacks I have had, but have never quite. I can't hike as fast, or climb as hard as only ten years ago, but continue going to the mountains
and enjoy being there. I am very lucky to be married to a woman who enjoys the mountains and keeps me company. In fact she is the best belayer I have ever known.
Thank you Jerry for the visit and your votes, and the best of luck to you too.
