Heading down

Why is it always nice to head down but it seems to take longer? We sure had a bluebird day on Mt. Adams and weather like this is to be cherished and appreciated. September is often a great month for the mountains in the northwest. Bob captured this pic of me descending one of the few snow fields. 9-21-03
