Headwaters of Mid Fk Weber
as seen from East Long Mountain. Thickly timbered main drainage, with a faint trail, crosses in the foreground. Hidden Lake valley is further back. Notch and Watson mountains close the view.

Based on the location of the remains, one of these two valleys must have been Carole and Kim's last route. Investigation theorized how it should have been main drainage of Mid Fork (foreground), but the analysis of dead women's pictures proves that they followed a very different route to the Hidden Lake stream.
