Helicopter crash at Khan Tengri and Pik Pobeda's base camp

Helicopters to and from to Khan Tengri and Pik Pobeda's base camp have been known to have their accidents. Don't forget the travel insurance! This helicopter crashed August 2005. It was over loaded and clipped its tail rota whilst taking off causing it to spin out of control and crash into the glacier 20m away. Thankfully everybody was ok although some people suffered burns.
