Helicopter delivering to the Konkordiahütte

Everything from beer to bog roll is delivered to the Konkordiahütte by helicopter. Only ski tourers and alpinists get up there via the steps. There are at least 300 of them (steps not alpinists) and more are added every few years as the glacier continues to recede. At least they are made of steel now - remains of the vintage wooden ladders remain but you wouldn't want to rely on them. Great hut in an amazing location in the heart of the Bernese Oberland.
