Here I am ascending the...
Here I am ascending the bottom of "the stairs." The sandy area in the upper left corner of the photo is where "the gully" tops out. As you can probably tell it's a bit airy here on one side but there are actually "steps" and the holds are very good. Just don't go up this when it's windy. If you fall, it could be bad, but I wouldn't say this is much worse than Harrington's Class 3 North Ridge. Feb 24, 2002. Photo Credit: George Tsaconas (used with permission)

I sure hope it's an easy climb with all that slack in the rope! :)
