Here's a view of both Mt Elbert and Mt Massive from the Northside boatramp of a very frozen Turquoise Lake I took in 03/05. This shows the how close in proximity CO's 2 tallest peaks are from each other. Mt Elbert of course, is to the left. If ambitious enough, both peaks can be conquered in the same day. Townfolk said snowpack was 140% this year; something they had not seen in quite sometime.
