Chimney Rock Park
Hiked from the lowest trailhead in the park to gain about a thousand feet to the top of the gorge. They had closed off the trail along the cliffside-- however, my friend had come there with only one goal: to hike the cliffside trail where "Last of the Mohicans" was filmed. We found our way through and it turned out they had closed the trail due to unfinished repairs on a ten foot section of aluminum fence-- which I prefer were'nt there in the first place! I hope the state buys it up soon and does away with all the ugly fencing.

Hickory Nut Gorge
I finally found a trail to access Rumbling Bald Mountain and associated peaks and summited three mountains in one hike: Rumbling Bald, Shumount Mountain, and Eagle Rocks.
