What is the big peak in the background? My guess would be Kula Kangri.

Yes, the big massive is Kula Kangri, and on the left should be Karjiang.

It's a very nice feeling to be on top of a high peak and look at the heart of the Himalaya. Excellent winter conditions and clear skies. Can one ask for more?
