Yes, it definitely looks as if there was a small slide on the other side of the valley. I did not actually notice it when we hiked. However, we did alter our path somewhat while hiking to avoid potential dangers. We stayed out of the wider/steep snow gullies on the South Slopes and climbed over the rock covered sections as shown in the picture.
