Glacial Retreat
I visited this glacier in 1975 and again in 2008. The rate of glacial retreat has accelerated. The distance to walk to get to the lip has receded approx half a kilometer. There are still naysayers about the true impact of humans on global warming, but glacier volume reduction worldwide cannot be argued.
