Overview
The Pasubio group - a limestone massif growing between Trentino and Veneto, is bordered on its W side (Trentino) by Terragnolo and Vallarsa valleys.To the South the huge rocky bulwark of Fontana Oro and Forni Alti stops the access to the Val Leogra and the Veneto plain.
The Cima Palon (2232 m), highest summit of the massif, dominates the summit ridge to the S.
The Vallarsa road (that from Rovereto, through Pian delle Fugazze, leads to Valli del Pasubio) and the Val Pòsina road (choosing the deviation for Colle Xomo), are the main accesses for the hikes in this group.
