That is great to hear. Were you thinking about coming this year? If you are, let me know as it gets closer and I can give some beta on conditions. So far the climbs in the area seem to be forming well. We haven't heard about Grande Cache yet but we may be venturing out that way this weekend.
WRT when to climb Evergreen Gully. We found it in condition Jan 6 last year and it was already starting to soften. In the rappel pic you might have noticed the fracture near the top. We had tried it a couple years earlier and were turned back by very poor conditions. I am not positive, but I think that was in Feb or Mar. But, as I am sure you know, this depends very much on the year.
There is no significant avalanche hazzard for either climb.
