Hochfirst, Southern Black Forest (Süd- oder Hochschwarzwald), Baden-Württemberg, Germany

Here's a set of pictures I took on two winter walks up one of the Schwarzwald (Black Forest) hills on Dec. 27th, 2009 and Dec. 28th, 2011. The Hochfirst, 1187 meters high, is situated right above the towns of Titisee and Neustadt, some 40 km east-southeast of the city of Freiburg im Breisgau. From the top, on really clear days, one can see the Alps from western Switzerland to the Allgäu Alps east of the lake of Constance. To the north, one has a great view over most of the Black Forest.
