| Birthday present for Judith: climbed Hochobir from Schaidasattel in perfect weather. Had the summit to ourselves for half an hour before people started to arrive who had started from Eisenkappler Hütte. By then clouds had started to rise from the valleys and they missed the best part. | |

| Up to now I've been four times on the summit of Hochobir: 19.07.2003 - With my girlfriend Irene we've been on the summit at 8 p.m., enjoying a beautiful panorama and a wonderful sunset with no one else on the summit 28.09.2004 - On the summit with two friends from Germany. Some snow but quite good weather. 25.09.2005 - Fairly fast ascent (55 minutes from Eisenkappler Huette to the summit) 15.08.2006 - In one hour from Eisenkappler Huette to the summit | |

| June 28th, 2006: From Freibach/Borovnica valley and the North ridge: Reached the nice Jagoutz meadow and turned left on the summit of Kleinobir / Mali Obir. There the weather deteriorated completely (fog, wind,...), but stayed some more time. Suddenly it got better, so I prolongued by the nice North Route on the main summit of Hochobir and descended by the SW ridge on Sajda saddle. From there I had to walk down by the road almost 1 hour (got wet again!). Silly me, why not taking a bike to wait me there! April 2nd, 2005: From Eisenkapeller Huette: My only 3rd ascent. This time I was the last skier in the season. Hardly any snow at all. | |

| The panorama is wonderful from the summit, and it's quite easy to get there for beginners, too. | ||
