First assent and it was really nice. Also Hochschoberhuette is a nice place to stay.

A very fine tour! Some unpleasant snow on the summit ridge, unfortunately low visibility from the top. We descended by the SE route (we didn't dare to cross the Kleinschober too).

Been there several times, most times up the SE ridge (accessible both from Lienzer hut / east side or directly from Westl. Leibniztoerl, a bit more climbing there).

one of my very few ice climbs. It is ideal for beginners. We had 30 cm fresh snow, otherwiese there would be pure ice in September. We climbed in the clouds so I didn't see anything. We descended to the Hochschoberhuette on the normal route. The next day the weather was very fine and we returned to the Kals valley via Staniskascharte and a very nice descent, not marked, on a difficult to find path. There are some alpine pastures not used anymore nowerdays because the valley is so remote.
