| The day before, I had arrived in Munich on the night train and subsequently made my way to the Höllentalanger Hütte. Early next morning, the hut emptied quickly, as many groups left for the summit. I started on the late side, but passed a lot of them on the glacier, because I wanted to be ahead of the crowds on the klettersteig. | |

| I really enjoyed this route. The weather cooperated for once on this trip and it was a beautiful, fun climb. Seeing all the tourists on the summit was a shock but then after some liter beers I didn't care. | |
