Hohe Riffl - on the final part of the NE ridge

The slope to the left of the NE ridge is relatively gentle, and the almost flat Rifflwinkel glacier is not much lower in case you fail to self arrest fast enough. However, on the right it quickly becomes steeper, and it's a very big drop. Best to stay away from there! 30 August 2011.
