As the sun set from our campsite at Slide Lake, we noticed a peculiar white spot on a sheer cliff face. I used my telephoto lens to capture a prominent hole in the side of Gable Mountain! The south side of the mountain is littered with massive boulders, and it appears as though a huge chunk of rock broke off from this spot. Enlarge for a better look. June 15, 2012
