From Mountain Springs  Sucess!

No summit block for me. Amazing solitude... didn't see a single soul. Perfect mini-adventure with killer views.

Hollow Rock Peak Via Mountain Springs  Sucess!

2.5 Miles Round Trip with 850 feet elevation gain. Most of the hike is class 1 with some class 2 spots along the way. The summit up the rock is class 4 and is a bit tricky getting back down. Looks like there may be a 2nd way to climb it from the north face of the rock.

Burly little mountain  Sucess!

with Maddie on a bluebird spring day. After doing Mountain Spring Peak and Windy Peak on separate days, we went for this one. Definitely the most interesting climbing of the three.

From West  Sucess!

A sweet treat for the last day of 2016. Leg-exercising ups and downs to and from the Mountain Springs dirt road pullout, some nice hiking over sandstone, and a neat finish at the summit block which is class 3/4 (easy class 4?) from the tree.

Scrunble from Mt. Springs  Sucess!

Surprised to find this put up more of a fight than Windy. Fun scrambling out on the sandstone. 43 minute ascent, 10 minutes on the peak, 41 minutes back down.

Summit boulder is easy on the way up, and slightly tricky on the way down. There is a fixed rope that I didn't inspect, but there's a downclimb on the NE corner of the boulder that works well. There's even a pile of cheater rocks there.
