| Wow, this was my lasr Sawatch, started before 4 am, finished at about 2 pm. This was a great trip and I saw the sunrise alpenglow on the summit right from the Halfmoon Pass. Great Sawatch Finisher. | ||

| Did the Tour de Holy Cross in nice weather. Went up the Halo Ridge and down the Halfmoon Pass route. It was a long day scrambling above 13K. Great views of the Bowl of Tears. It was peak 10 on my 13 day trip. | |

| Nice day following the North Ridge to the summit, then continuing on to the Halo Ridge. Lake below was a beautiful blue. Took a look at Notch Mountain, but weather was rolling in. | |

| Drove to the tailhead after work on a Friday, got up the ridge as it was getting dark and then descended into the valley with headlamps on and found a spot to camp. Next time I think I would skip the camping part, as putting on your big pack and getting back up the ridge after doing the 14er is brutal. | |

| Long day. Ascended the standard route to the summit, then continued on the additional mile or so to the summit of Holy Cross Ridge. Returned the same way, bypassing the Holy Cross summit on the return. | |

| Remote. A slog back up over half moon pass. Great technical alpine route potential on the Angelica Face. A mountain worth multiple repeats. | |

| Due to Tigiwon Rd closure, I went in from the south. The road just past Fancy Creek was washed out. Packed into Hunky Dory Lake. Reached east ridge of Pt 13,768, went over to Mt of HC, then back to HC Ridge. Came down to Tuhare Lakes - which was a big mistake! Spent a lot of time looking for a passable way down. Beautiful area! But lots of snow begets lots of rushing water. | |

| sled up to summer TH, climbed N.ridge route in variable conditions, but sunny for most of the day. Topped out on the summit with 45-50 mph winds, dropped in to Cross Couloir a little after noon and skied some pretty incredible snow. Great line on an iconic peak. After all those years of gaping at it from the back bowls of Vail, I finally laid claim to it. | |
