Horseshoe, Marc!

I'm traveling up to a mountain lake similar to this one on Wednesday, but the trees aren't quite as high as what they have in the Big CA.

But, I'd like to get out of this "smoke-filled" valley, as we have another wildfire
burning off to the north. Awesome trees !!!

Thank you Larry, As it turns out Horseshoe lake sits directly above an active section of a volcano that produced Mammoth Mountain. The shores of this lake are DEAD because of the volcanic fumes. This photo is taken from a good 100 feet away from the shore. At some point in time I'll post a couple of photos of the dead trees near the shores.

Thanks for the visit, Larry,
Marc

No, thank you!

I need to do further research! For some strange
reason, I thought the lake was stocked with
Rainbow trout. : )
